(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – One of LRHS’s FFA standouts was recognized at this month’s University of Florida FFA competition. Freshman Jessica Bierds triumphed with her presentation on Interiorscaping. Bierds placed first in the state in the Landscape Category of Ornamental Horticultural Demonstrations.
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – This week marks the home stretch for the LRHS Senior Exit Project known as “Kiddy Lit.”. Mustangs in Honors and Regular English IV have been working on writing and illustrating their own original children’s books. At 9:15 a.m. May 1, participating Mustangs will embark on a field trip to Bashaw Elementary School where they will read their stories to the third and fourth graders.
(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – “Voting? You mean for Prom Queen and King?”. Some Mustangs may be experiencing confusion regarding the signs hanging up around campus. It’s not a campus election they’re advertising, it’s the 2016 races, including the presidential election. Students 16 years and older may register to vote from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on April 30 in the courtyard between the cafeteria and the auditorium.
